Who we are
Security Alliance LLC is a licensed security services company headquartered at 8323 NW 12th Street, Suite 218, Miami, Florida 33126, USA. We operate this website at securityalliancegroup.com and we are responsible for the information described here.
If you want to reach us about anything in this policy, write to info@securityalliancegroup.com or call 1 (888) 610-7769.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information: what you type into a form, what your browser sends automatically, and what is recorded in ordinary web server logs. We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers, and we do not build profiles of visitors who never contact us.
Information you give us
Three forms on this site collect information, and each collects only the fields shown on it:
| Form | What it collects |
|---|---|
| Consultation request | Your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, the location you need covered, the service you are interested in, how you prefer to be contacted, and anything you write in the message field. |
| Careers pre-application | Your name, phone number, email address, the position and location you are interested in, your security license type if you hold one, years of security experience, the background categories you select (military, law enforcement, private security, emergency or medical, other), your availability, whether you are legally authorized to work in the location you selected, and anything you write in the notes field. |
| Security guide request | Your name, email address, and the area of security you are interested in. |
Every form also carries a hidden field that real visitors never see or fill in. It exists to catch automated spam submissions and is discarded.
Please do not send us sensitive information through these forms. They are ordinary web forms, not a secure channel. Do not include government identification numbers, financial account details, medical information, or confidential details of a security posture, threat, or incident. If you need to discuss something sensitive, call us and we will arrange an appropriate way to receive it.
Information your browser sends
When you submit a form, we also record the web address that referred you to the site, if your browser provides one, and any campaign tags present in the link you followed (the utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign parameters). This tells us which of our efforts brought you here. It does not identify you beyond what you have already typed into the form.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, our web server keeps access logs. These typically record the IP address of the request, the page requested, the date and time, the response status, and the browser user-agent string. We use them to keep the site running, to diagnose faults, and to identify abuse. They are not used to build marketing profiles.
How we use it
- To answer you. A consultation request goes to our leadership team so someone can respond to it.
- To evaluate applications. A careers submission is reviewed for suitability for the role and location you selected.
- To deliver what you asked for, such as the security guide.
- To operate and improve the website, including diagnosing errors and understanding which pages are useful.
- To meet legal, licensing, and contractual obligations, including record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed security agency.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud, and abuse.
We do not use what you submit here for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email to people who only requested a consultation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers. We use vendors to host this website. Form submissions are delivered into a spreadsheet held in a Google Workspace account controlled by Security Alliance, and a copy is emailed to us. Google processes that information as our service provider, under its own terms, and not for its own purposes. No other company receives what you submit.
- Within Security Alliance. Submissions reach the people who need to act on them, including staff at the office nearest the location you named.
- Where the law requires it, or where we need to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
- In a business transfer, if Security Alliance is ever party to a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Any successor would be bound by this policy.
If you apply for a job
Applications for our open positions are handled in our recruiting system, which is operated for us by Paycor. When you open the listings on our careers page, or apply to a post, you are using that system. Paycor processes what you submit on our instructions in order to run our hiring, and their own privacy notice governs how they handle it. Applying does not by itself start a background check.
Inside the company, what you submit goes to the people who make hiring decisions for the position and location you applied to, and to the office nearest that location. Outside the company, it is held by Paycor as the operator of the recruiting system, and by nobody else. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with other employers or with advertisers.
We ask only for what bears on whether you can do the work: how to reach you, the position and location you want, the license you hold if you hold one, your experience and availability, and whether you are legally authorized to work where you applied. Where we ask about prior military or law enforcement service, it is because that experience is directly relevant to protective work.
Please do not send a date of birth, a Social Security number, a driver's license number, a photograph, or anything about your race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, medical history, or the character of a military discharge unless a form specifically asks for it. If your application moves forward, we will tell you what we need, why we need it, and how to get it to us safely. Any screening a licensed security position requires is handled separately, and with your written authorization.
Security work is a licensed occupation in Florida and in the other states where we operate, and a licensed agency has to keep records about the people it employs. So an application that leads to employment becomes part of an employment record we are obliged to keep. An application that does not lead to employment is kept so that we can consider you for openings as they come up, and you can ask us to remove it at any point. See How to make a request.
Security Alliance is an equal opportunity employer. We consider applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. If you need an adjustment to the process in order to apply or to take part in an interview, write to info@securityalliancegroup.com or call 1 (888) 610-7769 and we will work it out with you.
Cookies and analytics
Nothing is stored on your device for our own purposes until you say so. This site does not need cookies to work, and it carries no advertising trackers beyond the Google measurement described here. The one exception is our careers page, where the job listings are supplied by Paycor and may set cookies of their own in order to run the listings and any application you start; that is part of applying, not measurement, and it is described under If you apply for a job.
The first time you visit, a bar at the bottom of the screen asks whether you are willing to accept analytics cookies. Until you answer, no analytics script is loaded and no request goes to Google. If you decline, none is ever loaded and we do not ask you again. Your answer is kept in your browser under the name sa_consent, which holds nothing but the word yes or no. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
What we measure if you accept
Google Analytics 4 tells us how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, how people arrive, and whether a form was submitted. Google Ads conversion measurement tells us which advertising produced an inquiry. Both set cookies in your browser for that purpose, and both are operated by Google, whose handling of the data is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. Our tag is configured to anonymize IP addresses. We use these tools to see how the site performs, not to identify you, and we do not use them to build advertising audiences out of your visit.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer whenever you like, and you do not have to contact us to do it.
Clearing your browser's stored data for this site also clears the choice, and you will be asked again on your next visit. Blocking these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker works as well, and the site behaves normally without them.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we read it as a decline. Analytics stay off and you are not shown the bar at all. That holds whatever you may have chosen here before, so turning the signal on later overrides an earlier acceptance.
Typefaces
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which will see your IP address, as it does on any site using that service. That request is part of drawing the page and happens whether or not you accept analytics. The careers page additionally loads our job listings from Paycor, which runs our recruiting system; that happens only on that page, and only because the listings are what the page is for. Paycor will see your IP address and may set cookies of its own in order to run the listings and any application you start. No other third-party content is embedded anywhere on this site.
If you ask us for the guide or the capability statement
Two documents on this site are offered in exchange for an email address: the security guide, and the capability statement on the federal page. Requesting either one gives us your name and that address so that we can send you the file, and we add the address to the list we use for occasional updates about our work. Every one of those messages says who it is from and carries a one-click unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe whenever you like, unsubscribing does not affect anything else, and we do not sell the list or pass it to anyone outside the company.
Consultation requests and job applications are not added to that list.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as it takes to serve the purpose you sent it for, and then for as long as we are required to keep records for legal, licensing, insurance, or contractual reasons. Consultation inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept while there is a realistic prospect of the conversation resuming, and are then disposed of. Careers submissions are kept so that we can consider you for openings as they arise, and for the period applicable employment record-keeping rules require.
You can ask us to delete what you have sent, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it. See Your choices.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS, and browsers are instructed to use an encrypted connection for it. Access to form submissions is limited to Security Alliance personnel who need it to do their job.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. That is why we ask you not to send sensitive material through the forms on this site.
Your choices and your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you write from, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you from this website, and where it came from;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it, unless we are required to keep it;
- stop contacting you;
- hold off on using it while we look into a question you have raised.
You can also decline analytics cookies, or withdraw an acceptance you gave earlier, without contacting us at all. See Cookies and analytics.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use what you send through this site to make decisions about you automatically, and we do not profile visitors.
State privacy laws
A number of US states have passed privacy laws that give their residents rights of this kind. Whether a particular law reaches a particular company turns on things like revenue and how many people's information the company handles, and those thresholds move as the laws are amended. Rather than publish a guess about which of them cover us in a given year, we have taken the simpler route. The rights listed above are open to anyone who asks, wherever you live, and we do not make you prove which state you are writing from before we act.
If a law that applies to you gives you a right we have not listed here, ask for it by name and we will deal with it.
How to make a request
Write to info@securityalliancegroup.com with Privacy request in the subject line, or call 1 (888) 610-7769 and say that is what you are calling about. Tell us what you want done, and give us the email address or phone number you used on the form so we can find your submission.
Confirming who you are. Before we hand anything over or delete it, we need to be reasonably sure we are dealing with the right person. Usually that means writing from the address you originally used, or confirming a detail about your submission that only you would know. We will not ask you for a government identification number or a copy of an identity document in order to prove who you are.
Someone acting for you. If you would rather an agent, a lawyer, or a family member made the request for you, we will act on it once you have confirmed to us directly that they speak for you.
How long it takes. We aim to acknowledge a request within ten business days and to finish it within forty-five days. If something makes that impossible, we will tell you why and when to expect it. There is no charge, and asking will never change how we treat you as a client, an applicant, or a caller.
If you are not satisfied. Reply and say so, and we will look at it again. If you would still rather take it further, the consumer protection office or attorney general for the state where you live can take a complaint.
International visitors
Security Alliance is headquartered in the United States and also operates offices in Belize, Ecuador, and Suriname. Information submitted through this website is processed in the United States. If you are writing to us from another country, the privacy laws where the information is processed may differ from those where you live. Submitting a form is your decision to send us the information anyway.
Children
This website is intended for business and employment inquiries and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
