Our Story

Founded by an intelligence officer. Run like one.

Security Alliance was founded in 2001 by David Ramirez, a former U.S. intelligence officer who served in the Marine Corps attached to a special operations unit.

His founding philosophy - an "unmatched standard of excellence" - still governs how we hire, train, and operate. What began in Miami has grown into an international provider logging more than 2.5 million hours of security services each year for governments, businesses, and communities, while keeping the responsiveness of a management-led firm.

Our local guard forces protect United States embassies in Belize, Suriname, and Ecuador - work recognized when the US Department of State named Security Alliance its Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year in 2010.

We have grown steadily, never at the expense of standards. Every branch, every post, and every detail answers to the same leadership team.

Mission

To provide exceptional security services with integrity and professionalism - delivering real-world solutions, tailored to the unique threats facing each client, without compromise.

Vision

To be the security partner of record for the world's most demanding clients - combining global capability with the accountability of a single, responsive leadership team.

Core Values

The code we operate by.

01

Integrity

We are trusted with people, property, and information. That trust is never negotiable - in the field or in the back office.

02

Professionalism

Our people represent our clients as much as they represent us. Bearing, discipline, and preparation are conditions of the job.

03

Excellence

The founder's standard is the operating standard: exceed the requirement, then document how to exceed it again.

04

Partnership

We design programs with clients, not for them - because the best security is built on how you actually operate.

Leadership

Led from the front.

More than 150 combined years of security, intelligence, and law-enforcement leadership.

Project Management

Who actually runs your account.

The leadership above sets the standard. Day to day, you deal with your project manager.

Every client program gets a named project manager and a named backup. You are given both names and their direct numbers when the account opens, and that is who you call. Not a national queue, not a ticket system. The project management team reports to Beatriz Mulet, our Director of Operations, so the line from your site to someone who can make a decision is short.

You will notice we do not publish our managers' names and photographs here. That is deliberate. We sell protective services, and a public roster of the people who run client accounts is a useful thing for anyone building a pretext to get onto your site. We will tell you exactly who yours is. We would rather not tell everyone else at the same time.
