Business size and set-aside status
Security Alliance graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program. We completed the program rather than exiting it early, and we no longer hold 8(a) status or any other socioeconomic set-aside designation.
What that means for you, stated plainly: we are not eligible for 8(a) or other set-aside awards, and we compete on a full and open basis. If your requirement is set aside, we are not your prime - though we are available as a subcontractor or teaming partner, and we will say so rather than waste a bid cycle.
Our 2010 Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year award was made while we were in the program. It is a record of past performance, not a claim to current small-business status, and we date it everywhere it appears for exactly that reason.
Past performance
Security Alliance operates three United States embassy local guard forces: Belmopan, Belize; Quito, Ecuador; and Paramaribo, Suriname. Belize was taken over as an emergency procurement and has run continuously since 2009, which is the part of that record worth reading twice: the post was mobilized at short notice and the contract is still ours seventeen years later.
In 2010 the United States Department of State named Security Alliance its Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year.
There is no confidentiality restriction on naming these posts, which is why they are named here rather than described as “a federal client”. Period of performance, staffing levels and contract detail are provided on request and with any bid submission.

How to verify us
- SAM.gov: search Unique Entity ID VBZBJQQNKT96 or CAGE 3SBX5. Confirm the registration is active and the expiry date has not passed.
- Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services: search the private security license database for the three Florida numbers above.
- Texas Department of Public Safety: search the private security register for B07284601 and F07300001.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance naming your entity as additional insured. It is issued as part of contracting, and a sample is available during evaluation.
Run the same checks on every provider you are considering. A company that will not publish these numbers is asking you to take on trust something you could confirm in two minutes.

Questions buyers ask us.
What is your Unique Entity ID and CAGE code?
Our SAM.gov Unique Entity ID is VBZBJQQNKT96 and our CAGE code is 3SBX5. The registration is active with a purpose of registration of All Awards, and is current to 11 June 2027. You can confirm all of it yourself at SAM.gov without contacting us.
Are you registered to receive federal awards?
Yes. Our SAM.gov registration is active and its purpose of registration is All Awards, which covers federal contracts rather than financial assistance only.
What past performance do you hold with a federal client?
Security Alliance operates United States embassy local guard forces in Belmopan, Belize; Quito, Ecuador; and Paramaribo, Suriname. In 2010 the United States Department of State named Security Alliance its Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year. There is no confidentiality restriction on naming those posts, which is why we do.
Which NAICS codes are you registered under?
Four, published on this page: 561612 Security Guards and Patrol Services, which is our primary; 561611 Investigation and Personal Background Check Services; 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services; and 541690 Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. All four are in our SAM.gov record under Service Classifications.
Do you hold a GSA schedule or other contract vehicle?
Ask us. We will tell you plainly what we hold and what we do not, rather than implying coverage we cannot document. Where we are not on a vehicle you need, we will say so and discuss teaming.
What licenses cover the work?
Florida Security Agency License B 2100072, Florida Private Investigation Agency License A 3200282, Florida Security Officer School License DS2700029, and Texas private security licenses B07284601 and F07300001. License details for our other states are provided in writing before any bid.
Do you hold 8(a) or any other set-aside designation?
No. Security Alliance graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program and holds no current socioeconomic designation, which you can confirm in our SAM.gov record. We are not eligible for set-aside awards and compete full and open. On a set-aside requirement we are a subcontractor or teaming partner rather than a prime, and we will tell you that at the outset instead of at the debrief.
Are you available for disaster and emergency response work?
Yes. Security Alliance appears in the SAM.gov disaster response registry, which is where contracting officers search for vendors when a response requirement arises. Our Slidell, Louisiana office plans for storm season as an operating assumption rather than an exception.
Do you have a capability statement we can attach to a file?
Yes. Ask for it at the bottom of this page and the download appears straight away. It carries the same identifiers, NAICS codes, licenses, past performance and business status shown here, and it is dated, so you can see at a glance whether the copy in your file is current.
Who is the point of contact for a solicitation?
Send solicitations and capability requests to inquiries@securityalliancegroup.com or call 1 (888) 610-7769. Requests go to our leadership team, not a sales queue.
