Security Alliance has operated in Belize since 2009, when we were awarded the local guard force contract at the United States Embassy in Belmopan. Our Belmopan office is staffed and managed by us, under the same standards as our United States operations.

Belize was our first operation outside the United States, and the embassy contract is still the clearest statement of what we do here: a permanent, directly-managed guard force held to a federal client’s standard.

United States Embassy guard force
Local guard force contract supporting United States embassy operations in Belmopan. We took it over as an emergency procurement, mobilizing the post at short notice, and we still run it today - our first embassy engagement and the foundation of our Central American presence.

Directly staffed and supervised
Officers are recruited, screened, trained and supervised by Security Alliance. Paul Guerra, Project Manager, runs the operation from our Belmopan office.

The same incident categories, escalation thresholds and patrol evidence used at our United States sites, so a Belize site and a Miami site produce comparable data.
