 Dale PictureDale Carlson: Los Angeles, California

Dale Carlson retired honorably from municipal law enforcement after 24 years of service, having worked patrol, investigation, gangs, narcotic enforcement, personnel, training, and SWAT.  Dale worked up through the rank and file, promoting to Detective, Sergeant and finally Lieutenant, and eventually commanding both Administrative and Investigative Divisions.  He served and the Commander of a large regional SWAT team in Southern California, responsible for all tactical crisis response and special assignments in an area of operations encompassing six municipalities of over 374,000 population, and stretching over 70 square miles.

Since retirement, Dale as continued his service career in the private sector, working in the field of dignitary and high net worth VIP protection, security consulting, and as an instructor in various methods of civilian and professional security use of force.    Having over 20 years of experience as an instructor teaching police officers how to defend themselves, Dale recognized that transitioning to protecting clients and teaching citizens or other professionals how to lawfully and effectively protect themselves against criminals and threats, was a logical next career choice.

With a real-world background in public administration and management of law enforcement officers, Dale now manages a tight unit of highly skilled, very specialized, retired and active duty L.E.O.’s who work on a protective detail contracted by the United States Federal Government.

 

 

 

Gladys PictureGladys Dauphin: Miami-Dade County, Florida

Gladys is a project manager in charge of our security contract at Miami-Dade County facilities operated by the Internal Services Department (ISD) which includes Stephen P. Clarke Government Center, the Main Library, the Miami-Dade County Cultural Plaza, Courthouse East, History Museum, and the Medical Examiner’s Office. Gladys also manages contracts for Miami-Dade County agencies in Sector 1C including neighborhood centers, half-way houses assisting convicts seeking to re-enter society, and rehabilitative centers.

 

 

 

Paul PicturePaul Guerra: Belmopan, Belize

Paul Guerra has several years of management in the Security Industry in Los Angeles, California and was an active member of the LAPD’s Crisis Response Team. Since September, 2009, Paul served three years as Guard Force Commander at the U.S. Embassy in Belmopoan during which time Security Alliance was awarded “the Number One Local Guard Force for Small Embassies Worldwide. Paul currently serves as Project Manager in Belize. In addition to having training and background in Overseas Executive Protection and overseeing Security Alliance’s Executive Protection Program in Belize, Paul has also run protective details for clients such as Hershey and Coca Cola.

 

 

 

Glenn PictureGlenn C. Huiswoud, Paramaribo, Suriname

Glenn C. Huiswoud has been working at Security Alliance since 2010 after retiring as Guard Force Commander for a U.S Embassy contract under another security company. He is also a retired soldier from the Suriname Army, an entrepreneur and a retired staff manager for the British American Insurance Company. His leadership experience combined with his first hand experience with combat are valuable assets to our leadership here at Security Alliance.

 

 

 

 

Harold PictureHarold Lane: Georgetown, Guyana

Mr. Lane has been with Security Alliance since 2010. With 15 years of experience in managerial positions for Loss Prevention for two large retail companies and 11 ½ years in law enforcement with the San Diego Police Department and Imperial Beach Police Department, Harold brings both business and enforcement expertise to the table. His law enforcement experience includes burglary investigation division and Border Crimes Task Force.Harold holds certificates for Advanced Interview, Interrogation, and Investigation techniques.  He served in the U. S. Navy and received an honorable discharge and is a Vietnam veteran.

 

 

 

Beatriz PictureBeatriz Mulet: Miami, Florida

Beatriz has 12 years of combined experience in managing security officers. She currently oversees all of our commercial accounts throughout South Florida including Homestead Miami Speedway, Miami Seaquarium, Johnson and Wales University, Chapman Partnership for the Homeless, Miami Postal Service Credit Union and City of Hallandale Beach. Throughout her career she has proven to be a “team player” and a leader.  She quickly and effectively assesses situations using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and provides resolutions. Beatriz hires, disciplines and completes termination processing when necessary. She reviews incident reports, creates schedules, coordinates time-off requests and officer training as well as ensures that security officers are in compliance with proper equipment and uniform standards. Additionally, Beatriz has helped enhance our internal organization by overseeing and redefining our 24/7 communication center’s policies and procedures.

Beatriz also oversees our camera systems, technological installations and maintenance which include servers, computers, two-way radios, Deggy, and cell phone services.

 

 

Anthony PictureAnthony Socarras: Miami Dade County, Florida

With a Master’s Degree in public administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and 33 years of police work, Tony brings a high degree of knowledge and experience to Security Alliance. Tony manages our security contract at Miami-Dade County facilities operated by the Internal Services Department (ISD) which includes the Stephen P. Clarke Government Center, Courthouse East, the Miami-Dade County Cultural Plaza, the Main Library, and the Art Museum. Tony also manages contracts for the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) high security installations and the Miami Dade County Housing Authority (MDHA). Miami Dade County agencies in Sector 1C include drug treatment centers, rehabilitative centers, neighborhood centers, and half-way houses assisting convicts seeking to re-enter society. Investigative experience includes General Investigations, Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics, Auto Theft, Major Fraud, Credit Card Fraud, Mortgage Fraud, Arson, Sexual Crimes, Homicide, and Organized Crime. Extensive management and operational experience. He was a command level officer in various police districts and other investigative bureaus. Tony retired honorably as a Police Captain in 2008.

 

 

Joshua PictureJoshua Sparks: New Orleans, Louisiana

Joshua oversees all security related operations for the United States Army Corps of Engineers contract including the New Orleans District (third largest Corps of Engineers facility worldwide), Venice Substation, Inner Harbor Navigational Canal Locks, and 3 Outfall Canal Pumping Stations.  Within human resources, Joshua maintains certifications with both the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners and the City of New Orleans. Also, Joshua oversees Incident Reports, scheduling/time off requests, employee disciplinary actions, schedules training for firearms, baton, CPR/First Aid, Unarmed Self Defense, as well as ensuring Security Guards have proper equipment and uniforms.
